Our Leicester office are now looking for a talented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our Cost Management team.

Working in this role, you will be involved in a variety of projects, including residential, extra care, commercial, healthcare and industrial. You will work with a diverse client base and will join a strong and well established team of enthusiastic surveyors, providing all Cost Management services.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Advise on costs involved in building projects
  • Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals
  • Advise on contract arrangements and conditions under which building will be constructed
  • Evaluation of tenders and reporting thereon
  • Provide advice on implications of different construction methods, materials etc
  • Act as Quantity Surveyor, Employer's Agent and/or Contract Administrator under various building contracts Preparation of final accounts

Experience and Skills Required

To apply for this role, you must possess / be able to evidence:

  • Relevant degree or working towards completing this qualification
  • Ideally experience or knowledge of the building and construction industry
  • Demonstrate the desire and drive to becoming a Chartered Quantity Surveyor
