We made our name by building winning competition cars but we've grown far beyond the race track. Our capabilities include complete ground-up design, build and manufacturing commissions, for one-off concept cars and low volume production road cars. A quick look on our social media pages will give you an idea of some of the things we get involved in.  With so many projects on the go, we are looking to expand our team and have capacity to take on a Graduate Mechanical Engineer - Powertrain.

With RML now working in four different sectors, it means that no project is the same and therefore the opportunities really are endless.

About the role

Working with our dynamic engineering team, you will have exposure to all car areas. You will be working with senior engineers on a daily basis, giving you a great learning experience.

Requirements

  • On track to receive (or have already received) a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Automotive/Motorsport degree.
  • Experience designing or specifying mechanical systems, preferably for Powertrain applications.
  • Powertrain knowledge in either ICE or EV applications
  • Innovative approach to design

Desirable skills

  • Masters in Mechanical Engineering or other automotive/motorsport related degree with practical experience.
  • Hands on experience with Mechanical ICE powertrain systems.
  • Hands on experience with EV powertrain systems.
  • Formula student in EV or ICE Team
  • Professional Work Experience
  • CAD/NX Experience
