In Rolls-Royce Control Systems, we provide safety-critical controls and instrumentation expertise to customers around the world. We have decades of experience in supplying solutions to customers in the aerospace markets, and a career here means the chance to get directly involved in developing electronic engine control (EEC) systems. It's exciting work, especially because you'll be based in a brand new, state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility. From research, design and test, to build, modify and develop, everything here is done under one roof. The programme

Our structured Electronic Engineering Graduate Development Programme is designed to give you an immersive, hands-on experience. You'll get first-class training and support as you learn from some of the most respected and highly qualified professionals in the field.

What you'll do

You'll be at the cutting-edge of high-performance, harsh environment electronics, working on the control and instrumentation systems, the 'brain' of the engine. Through on-the-job learning, training modules and live project work, you'll experience the entire engineering lifecycle from design, build, development and test through to service introduction. Whether you're developing new technologies, testing units, improving current products or designing future control systems, it's an opportunity to contribute innovations and ideas to product designs for electronics that have to operate in increasingly demanding, harsh environments. As you develop, you'll start to test your knowledge and experience on more and more complex challenges. From this foundation, you can choose whether to become a specialist or to develop your leadership experience further.

What you need
