Overview of Role

This internship role sits in Rothschild & Co’s Corporate Responsibility team and will give you the opportunity to deliver real change and positive impact across the Corporate Responsibility spectrum.

  • helping us track, analyse and report on our performance against our ambitions, and provide a consolidated picture
  • supporting implementation of initiatives on the ground
  • contributing to and coordinating employment engagement campaigns

Reporting to the Group Corporate Responsibility Manager and Group Environment Manager, and working collaboratively across the business functions of HR and Investor Relations, you will gain a broad level of insight into the process of ESG integration in the business and help create and enhance long-term value for our stakeholders.

  • Ability to work with colleagues across all levels and across a broad range of business units
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements to systems and processes
  • Ability to manage a varied and often pressured workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • An understanding of data collection tools and processes and report writing
  • Ability to analyse and clearly present complex data sets
  • Basic knowledge of the broader CSR landscape, in particular Environmental Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, an understanding of French is desirable
  • Good understanding of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications and experience

  • Educated to degree level, appropriate work experience will also be considered
  • Experience of working in sustainability / CSR is an advantage
