About the team

In an era when technology has become essential to the running of almost every organisation, the slightest disruption to IT services can have catastrophic results. Our technology risk assurance team helps companies identify and mitigate risks, so a business can avoid disruption where possible. We also help companies to protect their networks from cybercrimes to reduce the risk of confidential data losses.

About the role

RSM’s graduate programme in technology risk consulting offers top quality career development. Your role will be is infinitely varied, interesting and rewarding. No client is the same so you’ll be constantly challenged. With our support, you’ll get the chance to grow professionally, with access to structured training and guidance from expert mentors.

When you join this team, you’ll work towards your CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), then move on to CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and then finally your CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) professional qualifications.

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic self-starters who are always up for a challenge. Technology risk assurance is a demanding and ever-changing discipline, so we look for graduates who are willing to learn and quick to grasp new subjects.

You’ll be working on a wide variety of projects, so it’s important that you’re adaptable, highly organised and have great attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as you’ll be communicating at all levels, often explaining complex information both in meetings and in written reports.

Our recruitment process

Please note, for those who perform well throughout our assessment process, should your first preference be unavailable, you could potentially be offered a role in another location or department. This would always be discussed with you in this instance.

Entry requirements

At RSM, we don't just look for good exam results. We think passion, personality and originality are just as important.

You will need:

  • 96 UCAS (new tariff) across 3 A Levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification or 104 UCAS (new tariff) across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers. Please note, RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
  • A predicted or obtained honours degree.

UCAS changed their points system so under the old tariff it would be 280 or 260 points respectively.

Please note, we require the successful candidate to have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle by the time they come to the end of their 6 month probation with RSM.
