Role and responsibilities

Samsung’s Legal teams provide crucial advice to some of our most specialised business areas, including Marketing, Sales and HR. Over the course of your time with us as a Paralegal Graduate, you will assist with nondisclosure agreements, product liability matters, marketing, and employment law, or on aspects such as competition law and data protection.

You will be responsible for supporting the Samsung Legal and Compliance Team in its day to day operations. This is a general commercial paralegal graduate role. The role is mainly non-contentious, although there may be some contentious work.

This role will involve tasks such as report generation, research, document management, reviewing and amending legal documents (with supervision) and supporting each member of the legal team.

Responsibilites could include

  • Preparing monthly reports for various divisions on recent legal updates.
  • Preparing and presenting training to the legal team on key legal and sector updates.
  • Taking responsibility for maintaining the Samsung legal precedents and consider any changes to be made to reflect new legislation and case law.
  • Drafting and negotiating various service agreements and documents, contributing to conference calls and attending face to face meetings throughout the business.

  • Ability to work independently and collabaratively
  • Enthusiasm to take on new tasks and responsibilities
  • Highly literate in Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint
  • An interest in technology and business
  • To be eligible for this position you must of graduated in 2021 or be due to graduate in 2022.
