What you can expect

As a Sales Associate you will have a key role in supporting the entire sales process including driving the arrangement of external customer meetings, with the opportunity to gain true insight to the full sales cycle. You will complete in depth research on current/potential customers to provide growth opportunities for SAP, enabling you to assist Account Executives in writing customer proposals.

Sales Associates have the opportunity to attend customer meetings with Account Executives to gain exposure to a client facing environment.

The role has a key responsibility in preparing useful analysis and presentations for the sales directors, including forecasting and supporting with the preparation for regular business reviews with the teams. This role has a key part in supporting the execution of key market unit projects for sales teams, these will require close collaboration with teams outside of sales such as Operations, Presales and Marketing.

You will gain experience in identifying areas to support each account through internal and external alignment meetings, i.e. what provides most value to the customer and releases more time for selling activities, whilst working with the sales executives and marketing specialists on some of SAP’s largest customers.

Who you are

  • Business, accounting, IT experience / working knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
  • Time Management Skills
  • Effective communicator
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Student in penultimate year of university
  • Studying a degree from any discipline
  • Available to start the 13-month placement in July 2022
