Job description

Schlumberger is looking for energetic, talented candidates to join its HR Function in the capacity of HR Interns. We have a full-time Intern position to fill across our offices in London. If you are looking to join an international company with one of the largest organizations in energy industry, this opportunity may be for you. Our internships are paid positions with flexible/hybrid working model. HR internships lasts for 1 year duration starting from Summer 2022 (flexible start date).

Essential responsibilities and duties

Reporting to Division HQ HR Manager, the Division HQ HR Intern is responsible for supporting the Digital & Integration HQ HR Manager in coordinating all the HR activities related to the HQ population around the world.

He or she participates to all activities as part of the Talent Management cycle (year-end appraisals, yearly incentives payment, Talent identification, performance Reward reviews, etc.) and provides support in coordinating and keeping a track on all requests of transfers, promotions, change of jobs, etc. with the different local HR teams around the world.

The position reports to the D&I HQ HR Manager. Successful position holders are excellent communicators, have good organizational skills, and work well in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track progress of all letters of assignment & HR data changes requested to the local HR teams around the world.
  • Work on headcount trends & reports and provide some analysis.
  • Provide employees and management support on all activities performed during the talent cycle.
  • Perform quality checks on various HR data, request corrections when needed and follow-up through completion.
  • Support the D&I HR management team with the organization of various HR events.
  • Develop extensive relationships with key stakeholders to enable good communication and smooth implementation of processes.
  • Keep abreast of all new D&I and company-wide HR initiatives.
  • Identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation. Actively engage in the continual improvement of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications and competencies

  • Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management or related subject.
