The programme 

The Graduate Programme in Schroders Capital Infrastructure (Greencoat) is intended to provide exposure across key areas within the business. As part of the Graduate Programme, you’ll be given training to help you perform to the best of your abilities. We are looking for graduates who enjoy helping solve problems and are keen to work on new and changing scenarios each day.  

The programme will be a rotational programme across Schroders Capital Infrastructure which may include exposure to the below areas within the private markets:  

  • Portfolio Management 
  • Product Development 
  • Sales and Investor Relations 

You are not guaranteed to have a set amount of rotations, the number of rotations you have on the programme is depending on business needs and individual interests. 

Some of your tasks may include  

  • Work with the business development and product strategy teams to develop and launch new product offerings with a view to growing our platform globally. This involves research of new investment themes, supporting the structuring of new products and the creation of client materials 
  • Support capital raising processes, including investor due diligence, onboarding, and stakeholder coordination 
  • Assist in portfolio management operations, including fund construction analysis, investment governance, investor reporting, and maintaining fund-level data

The department 

Schroders Capital offers access to a broad range of private market investment opportunities, portfolio building blocks and customised private market strategies. Our diversified range of investment strategies includes real estate, private equity, secondaries, venture capital, infrastructure, securitised products and market-based finance, insurance-linked securities and impact investing. 

Schroders Capital Infrastructure is umbrella term for the infrastructure equity investment capabilities across the Schroders Group’s private market business, which encompasses team members at Schroders Greencoat LLP in the UK and other regulated entities throughout the Schroders Group internationally. Collectively, this comprises a team of over 130 staff with a presence in 8 countries across Europe, the United States and China and has invested over €16.5 billion into ca. 450 energy transition assets at various project stages, with an aggregate capacity of around 7.7GW. 

The knowledge, skills and qualifications we’re looking for 

  • An honours degree or equivalent – we’re not fussed when it comes to your degree subject  
  • You will be in your final year of study or already graduated 
  • A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • The ability to understand our target audiences
