The Role
Contributes to the overall success of the Capital Markets in London ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
For 2022 Scotiabank is offering a fantastic opportunity togain outstanding experience from our Summer Internship Programme within our Capital Markets Banking business. This programme, which will be a 10 week internship, is aimed at students in their penultimate year of study regardless of degree background and will rotate across the business areas listed below:
- Fixed Income Sales and Trading
- DCM
- Prime Services
The great news is all Interns will work together as a team outside of their business group, getting involved in a CSR activity working with one of our chosen charities.Whether that is raising money or working on a challenge chose by the charity.
In addition, we are excited to confirm, through this Programme, our business leaders in London, will be looking to identify exceptional Interns for entry onto our full time Graduate Programme for 2023.
About you
- You are in your penultimate year of university studying economics, maths or finance at a leading UK univesity
- You are ambitious, bold and hardworking
