The Shiseido Group has an opportunity for a Marketing Intern to join and work across a vast and diverse portfolio of fragrances: Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Serge Lutens Beauty and Zadig&Voltaire.

As Marketing Intern, you will use your commercial and creative talent to enforce the development of the brands through the efficient implementation of the marketing strategy.

We also have 8 boutiques and 3 direct e-commerce websites.

About Designer Fragrances

Shiseido Group’s fragrance brands are a collection of luxurious and exciting fragrance brands, which are amongst the leaders in the UK market. The sensual and effortless delicacy of Narciso Rodriguez; the intriguing mix of natural and sophistication in Issey Miyake to the exotic and glamourous Dolce&Gabanna. In selected stores, we also have the unique, innovative collection from the extraordinary perfumer, Serge Lutens and we are launching this year the daring Zadig&Voltaire.

Responsibilities

Brand Marketing

  • Work closely with Marketing Manager & Brand Manager to execute the brands’ 360 marketing plans in the UK
  • Ensure individual brand launch calendars and launch matrix are updated
  • Coordinate all internal orders
  • Manage and deliver the post campaign and key gifting periods analysis for UK and EMEA reporting
  • Present internally at competitor forums after researching and collating newsworthy campaigns
  • Help coordinate the timely delivery of media assets to relevant sources to meet campaign launch timelines
  • Coordinate the design and delivery of all marketing material to support product launches and customer activity, i.e. posters, hand out cards etc
  • Work closely with all other marketing functions to ensure all activities are aligned and multichannel
  • Support Marketing team on ad hoc projects that will support the brand and commercial objectives of the fragrance portfolio

Administration

  • Liaising with Shiseido EMEA to request images and information to be delivered on time in a professional manner
  • Managing stock levels of products for marketing use
  • Co-ordinating with Operations and courier companies to raise orders and send products, diligently keeping up to date with order status to ensure smooth delivery
  • Raising Purchase Orders in a timely manner
  • Supporting Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Director with ad hoc projects

Profile

  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • A strong interest in the beauty industry
  • Proficient use of Microsoft programmes, most specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Hands on approach
