The launch pad for your career
Looking for a role that’s more than just an internship? At Siemens Mobility, we’re shaping the future of rail travel - and your career could be part of that journey. From high-speed trains to digital rail infrastructure, we help keep people moving safely, sustainably, and reliably every single day.
As a Recruitment Marketing / Talent Attraction Intern, you’ll be at the heart of how we bring new people into our business. Each year, our Talent Acquisition team welcomes around 700 new colleagues through Early Careers and Professional hiring. You’ll support and run recruitment marketing campaigns across multiple channels, helping to ensure Siemens Mobility attracts the best people to power the future of rail.
You’ll benefit from a personalised training plan and our intern development programme, while gaining hands-on experience in recruitment marketing, employer branding, and campaign delivery. This role offers the opportunity to shape how candidates discover their future in rail with Siemens Mobility, with hybrid working based in either Manchester or Poole (three days a week in the office) and occasional UK travel.
You’ll make an impact by
- Supporting recruitment marketing campaigns and creating engaging content across platforms and social media to showcase Siemens Mobility
- Helping to deliver virtual and in-person events, from liaising with suppliers on design and content to coordinating logistics and volunteers
- Building relationships with careers platforms and suppliers to promote our opportunities to the right people and maximise our reach
- Collating and analysing recruitment data to highlight trends, successes, and areas for improvement
- Contributing to projects across the wider People & Organisation (P&O) function, including leading our brand ambassador programme and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Assisting with key commercial processes, including tracking and managing purchase orders
What you’ll bring to the team
- You’re studying a Marketing or Business-related degree and looking for a 12-month internship as part of your course
- A curious and logical mindset, with the ability to self-learn, research, and approach problem-solving creatively
- Confidence to take ownership of challenges and ideas, working independently and responsibly while developing your ability to drive change
- A collaborative approach, enjoying teamwork and finding innovative solutions with others
Your journey starts here
We know that not everyone’s lifestyle is the same, so we operate a flexible benefits scheme where you can tailor your benefits package to suit.
Alongside your role, the Intern development programme will teach softer skills such as communication, teamwork, commercial awareness, digitilisation and innovation.
We value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society. Come bring your authentic self and create a better tomorrow with us!
