What you’ll do

Our Software Engineering teams cover web, mobile and internet TV. Developing key websites, such as Sky.com, working here will also mean you’re involved in developing software for Sky News, NOW TV and Sky Go.

Our graduates on this programme help develop the software that underpins how Sky products work. These include ones you’ve already heard of, such as Sky Q, NOW TV and Sky Go, but they also play a vital role in the technology that improves the way we work internally. Whatever your project, you’ll be making an impact from day one, producing software that fully contributes to our future success.

How does the programme work?

On this revolutionary Developer programme, four weeks’ training will give you a complete grounding in software engineering principles, Java development, test-driven development and continuous build and integration. You’ll then work on projects to develop and embed your skills for the next six months. Once the programme ends, you’ll move into a Software Development team on a permanent basis so this is a full-time permanent opportunity.
