About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Geophysicist to join an enthusiastic team delivering environmental consultancy and surveying services to a wide range of clients across the UK, with the UK’s number one testing, inspection and compliance company.

Client focused and quality driven, we are a leading provider of environmental services. Now we need a Graduate Geophysicist to undertake a diverse range of duties in support of the Geophysics and Surveys team. Duties will include attending sites around the UK to collect geophysical data, assisting with the processing and interpretation of data and production of reports.

This is an entry-level position and as such, relevant training and supervision will be given.  Your role will include:

  • Geophysical data collection including Seismic, Electromagnetic, Resistivity, Gravity and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) 
  • Geophysical data processing and interpretation
  • Report writing and production of data
  • Assisting other Surveys teams in land based topographic and underground utility surveys 

About You:

We’re looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have:

  • A further education certificate in Geophysics or related discipline
  • An ability to follow set methods and procedures in addition to being able to use own initiative
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
  • A full UK Driving Licence, as the role includes regular travel
