The SAM Intelligence Team currently supports a number of key Softcat customers by providing remote and on-site SAM services. This already successful service is expanding, and you will be working proactively to manage our customers’ software entitlement, renewals, provide scheduled reports, and support our team of SAM specialists (analysts and consultants) – all to ensure that our customers are totally in control of their software estate.

As SAM Intelligence Administrator, you’ll be responsible for:

• Carry out of key service deliverables on a monthly basis, including licence entitlement uploads, scheduled report creation, management of software purchase information and uploading into our license management tool (training will be provided)
• Provide assistance to the team for ad hoc reports and queries
• Work with the existing team to develop your skills in license management
• Produce monthly reports for SAM Intelligence customers using data from our licence management tool and ongoing tracking of tasks agreed with the customer
• Help schedule monthly update calls/meetings to assist customers with ongoing licence management
• Liaise with vendors, customers and internal resource where required to ensure accurate entitlement and contract information is kept up to date

What we need from you

• An interest in developing skills or a career in Software Asset Management
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Comfortable working within a structured, task-based system, but also take a proactive approach to additional work should it be required
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Some knowledge of IT and/or software licensing would be an advantage

Please note, you’ll be put through SC clearance upon hire, so you’ll need to possess either an existing SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo the vetting for such clearance.
