We are welcoming applications for an Intern - Operational Support Unit to join us in supporting projects/ administration on behalf of the Operational Support Services Department.

What you'll do

The successful applicant will be given opportunities within the arena of general administration, including focus on Health and Safety, Compliance and Property Subject to Charge

This post requires individuals who are organised, competent at communicating and liaising with colleagues at all levels, enjoys solving problems with the support of the supervisor, can demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and enjoys being a proactive member of a team.

Who you are

The successful candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV level.

Not suitable for job-share/part time working.

The programme commences September 2022 and in order to be eligible for the intern programme you will need to be studying for a degree and looking for a ‘sandwich placement’ or alternatively you will have graduated within 3 years. Please note that you cannot apply if you have already undertaken an internship with South Wales Police.
