Digital Platforms & Innovation: Digital channels and platforms are the primary way our clients experience our products and services. We’re building a strong, standardised and global digital platform to deliver a high-value customer experience, from onboarding to transactions, across multiple products.  

Data & Analytics: Data is the fuel that powers our digital future. Our centralised team focus on embedding data-driven insights into our organisation through direct commercialisation and utilisation of data assets and advanced analytics. 

Partnerships & Client Solutions: Our team support digital solution design, ensuring digital products and platforms meet client needs, support digital strategic partnership development and bring in platform partnerships to build out third-party capabilities.

Your training

We have developed an exciting 18-month programme designed to fast track you to an established career in the DCDA function of the Bank. This programme will build your technical and business knowledge through rotations across Client Experience & Engagement, Digital Platforms & Innovation, Data & Analytics, Partnerships & Client Solutions teams. 
You will follow a tailored training and development plan and will be supported and encouraged along the way through buddy and mentoring schemes, and have the opportunity to network with our senior management team.

Your career progression

At the end of your 18-month programme, you’ll join a role in Digital Channels & Data Analytics team and this could be in any one of the following areas:

  • Client Experience & Engagement
  • Digital Platforms & Innovation
  • Data & Analytics
  • Partnerships & Client Solutions

What you’ll do over 18 months

  • International induction – these are classroom sessions, case studies, and tailored technical training split by business functions.
  • 12 month training rotation – you’ll spend twelve months across different Analytics teams within COE where you will learn how to develop analytics solutions and implement. You will broaden your experience with rotations into areas including Product/segments, Digital, experimental, and country analytics.
  • 6 month business rotation – your final rotation will last six months and help you understand our solutions in detail. It’s your chance to find the team you fit into best and begin your Standard Chartered career.

We’re interested in people with diverse backgrounds and encourage students from all degree disciplines to apply to our programmes. 

For our International Graduate Programme, you must 

  • Be in your final year of study for a university degree or higher, or have graduated in the last two years, and  
  • Have the permanent legal right to work in the country you’re applying to. 

Exceptions 

  • For the UAE, we accept applications from Arab Nationals requiring visa sponsorship, but priority will be given to nationals of the country.  
  • For graduate roles in US, we will not consider applications from candidates seeking Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT) employment.
