The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Environmental Planner to join our team in Reading or London.

Our work in the energy and resources sector includes iconic hydro power and pumped storage schemes, conventional and advanced thermal power generation, recycling systems and mining and minerals.

Day-to-day you could be producing Supporting and collaborating with senior members of the environmental teams conducting environmental planning reports, EIAs and environmental management studies, audits, assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and monitoring the progress post-submission.

About you

As an individual, you’ll have a keen interest in the energy sector, and passion for sustainability as well as:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in environmental discipline / planning
  • A collaborative worker, ready to liaise and seek advice from other technical disciplines across the company
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK at the time you start employment.

Desired but not essential

  • Previous experience via a summer placement or internship.
  • MSc in Planning/ relevant subject
