Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.
We are looking for an ambitious, career driven Account Manager to join our Automotive team. You will work with an experienced and friendly team in the UK and EMEA. The position location is flexible, but Midlands UK is preferred. You will work remotely from home and visit a high profile Automotive OEM in the West Midlands. There will also be some EMEA travel.
This is an ideal role for a graduate Account Manager with 1 to 2 years experience looking to progress their career.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our UK Sales team selling a range of innovative and technologically advanced products and services to clients operating at the forefront of the Automotive industry. Reporting to the Global Account Manager the position holder will work directly with the Customer on Business Development topics covering applications such as Infotainment, 12V, 48V and High Voltage Applications among others.

- Business Development
- Business Account analysis
- Supporting the Global Account Manager to executing the Strategic Business Plan
- Market Analysis
- Monthly reporting of project and sales opportunities
- Identifying Sales opportunities and converting into won business
- Providing quotations
- Track invoicing and payments with Finance and Customer Services
- Facilitating Complex Engineering projects
- Weekly travel within the UK and occasional travel within Europe
- Supporting Technical product presentations
- Building a strong network with the key Customer functions such as Engineering, Finance and Purchasing
About you
- Sales experience or relevant technical background and looking for a career in Sales / Account management within the automotive industry
- Technical and commercial training (apprenticeship, college, university): e.g. Business Administration or Automotive Engineering
- Analysis driven, high level of Microsoft Excel and Presentation preparation
- Project management experience (team level)
- Proven organisational skills
- Flexibility and a willingness to travel
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform in a demanding environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Target and results driven
- Microsoft Office, SAP experience
- Driving Licence
