Our Trust and Safety engineering team is responsible for developing state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms to protect our platform and users from the content and behaviours that violate community guidelines and related local regulations. Responsibilities

  • Building industry-leading trust and safety systems for TikTok
  • Developing highly scalable ML learning algorithms for computer vision, natural language processing, data mining and user modelling
  • Carry out research works for trust and safety and contribute to the academic community
  • Understanding product objectives and improving trust and safety strategy and policies accordingly
  • Working with cross-functional teams to protect TikTok globally.

Qualifications

  • You must be a current PhD student with a degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
  • Considerable experience in at least one of the following areas: machine learning, NLP, computer vision or data mining 
  • High-level analytical and coding skills
  • Familar with deep learning computing frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow etc. )
  • Great communication and teamwork abilities
  • Passionate about techniques and solving challenging problems
  • Canidates with published papers in top conferences are preferred (e.g. ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV etc.)
