The Role

Summer Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with the chance to work with our clients and teams to address key business problems and identify areas of growth for the company. With your education and experience, you will be able to take on real-world challenges from day one.

TikTok is looking for an enthusiastic, intelligent and self-driven Product Management Intern to work with us on some of the new products we are developing within the Speech, Audio and Music Intelligence (SAMI) team. SAMI is a global division; you will be working in the London based branch of our product management team.

As a Product Management Intern in this team, you will be passionate about music, music technology, product and design. You will have an analytical mindset, be very organised and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Being able to identify product opportunities and think from the perspective of a user is critical. Working in the team will provide you with outstanding experience in a cutting-edge and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • You are in your penultimate year, preferably studying towards a product, technical, design, or business bachelors degree or have some entrepreneurial experience.
  • We are looking for a self-starter, enthusiastic and passionate about products and new features.
  • Working in an international team, excellent communication skills, a great presentation style, and a collaborative mindset are necessary.
  • You should be comfortable working in a technical environment and able to handle technical conversations with software engineers.
  • You are comfortable working with data and tracking performance metrics.

  • Previous experience working in a Product Management role
