About this role

We are seeking an Electronic Trading coverage person to join the Electronic Trading (EQS) team within Liquidnet, one of the highest growth areas of the Liquidnet business. Reporting into our head of EQS Distribution you will be responsible for delivering to clients exciting and interesting data analysis to drive usage of Liquidnet products.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & TCA:

• Design and deliver tactical trading to solutions to Liquidnet clients

• Create new analytics and visualisations to deliver to clients and support the sales and marketing effort

• Delivery to clients of regular TCA to support their usage of Liquidnet products

Execution Consultation & Client Analytics:

• Providing value-add analysis to clients on their usage of Liquidnet products

• Recommending optimal Liquidnet algorithmic strategies, venue access and other algo parameters to clients based on their stated electronic trading objectives

• Working with traders and quants to author white papers and market

• Microstructure research

Skills and Experience

• Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Knowledge of Equity trading and Market Microstructure

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team, both horizontally and vertically

• Strong technical skills to deliver Analysis, including Python, SQL, R and Excel

• Must be a team player with ability and interest in participating in new projects and helping other departments within the company

• Ability to prioritise work under pressure to meet deadlines
