We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off Cycle Internship Program within our Global Banking business.

You’ll get to:

  • Understand how our clients, including (inter alia) corporates, institutions, private equity and governments, operate businesses and consider strategic objectives
  • Get to know the markets through IPOs, capital raising and disposal/sale
  • Interact with the equities platform to get an insight into the investor community views and trends
  • Learn all about debt capital markets including corporate and emerging market bonds
  • Evaluate companies and develop models for M&A transactions
  • Prepare industry analyses for pitches
  • Get involved in the execution of live deals

Your team

You’ll be working in our Global Banking Banking (Special Situations Group) business based in London.

Supporting SSG team in all aspects of financing transactions for both institutional and wealth clients. You’ll learn how to use market data to develop researching skills and contribute to the creation of strategic materials for your teams and our clients in a dynamic environment.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Is in the penultimate or final year of their degree, or has recently graduated (no more than 6 months from the internship start date)
  • Has or is on track for a 2:1 (UK grading system) or the equivalent in your first undergraduate degree
  • Has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
  • Is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
  • Is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. Your program

This paid internship will last three to six months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
