Our LPC will prepare you for business. Future lawyers and business leaders need a wealth of skills to prepare them for today's market place. Our client focused LPC enables you to develop commercial awareness, critical thinking, project management, and the networking skills that will prepare you for the challenges ahead.

Why choose our LPC?

We’re confident that our LPC is the best preparation for entering legal practice by offering you the skills to succeed in the business world. After all, we are the preferred legal training provider to over 30 major law firms and we've trained more lawyers than anyone else.

Want the best start in your career as a solicitor? Study the LPC at The University of Law and develop the skills to succeed.

Develop your legal skills

Our successful blend of learning methods encourages you to develop autonomy across a wide range of professional skills including research, drafting, critical thinking, analysis and time and risk management. It’s something we take right through to our innovative assessment policy which will require you to apply these skills in order to submit office quality work to a deadline.

Receive practice-focused training on your LPC

Improve your career prospects by focusing on the essential skills legal employers are looking for. In small group workshops, you'll be taught by qualified lawyers with extensive practice experience. You’ll also benefit from online learning resources and personal feedback from our tutors, who are available in person, by phone or via e-mail.

University of Law's teaching and learning model

Our unique teaching and learning model ensures integration of key skills and competencies, essential for employability, into the course content. This helps you to relate what you’ve learnt in the workshop to what is expected of you in practice. It’s based on what we know leading law firms look for and is designed to give you an edge from the moment you go for your first interview to when you start your training contract.
