Assist Senior and Lead Designers in the development of mechanical aspects of water and wastewater treatment plant designs.

Duties of the role

  • Assist in developing detailed designs
  • Preparation of drawings using CAD & REVIT with emphases on BIM
  • Preparation of design submissions
  • Liaising between M&E Designers and Civil & Structural Designers
  • Liaising with Client
  • Pipework & Valeve Take-offs
  • Procurement Specifications

Required skills for this role

  • Accredited NFQ Level 8 Honours Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline
  • 0-1 years previous experience in a similar position
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Strong Problem solving skills
  • Numerate and highly computer literate
  • Effective Time Management and Communication skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent user of relevant design software packages, as well as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure, whilst ensuring deadlines are met
  • Self motivated
