Role purpose

The Product Analyst will operate as a key member of the Product Management Team to support the strategic direction of the Property solutions for Verisk Claims, Europe.

Responsibilities include

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the property solutions, our clients’ business infrastructure and processes.
  • Build strong strategic relationships with customers.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, such as the Head of Property, product management, business development, client services, and customers to understand the current and future needs of the property solutions.
  • Analysing and interpreting internal and external data sources, such as NPS results, product usage, and customer support to ensure the products are meeting the needs of the customers.
  • Investigate/analyse the property markets and gain in-depth knowledge to exploit emerging trends and opportunities.
  • To complete product configuration in line with agreed client requirements.
  • Contribute to the definition of the vision and strategy of the property solutions.
  • Realise and deliver the product strategy through:
  • Scoping and planning product changes to drive maximum benefit, which includes understanding the return on investment and risks to formulate business cases.
  • Translate customer and market needs into epics and stories.
  • Working with key stakeholders to manage the prioritization of development.
  • Work with product directors and developers to drive the property product development.
  • Build and update product roadmaps and present to stakeholders.
  • Participate in customer review meetings, workshops, and prospect sales pitches, which will include presentations and demonstrations.
  • Contribute to product governance to ensure the property solutions meet market regulations.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ideal experience and qualifications

  • Degree or significant relevant experience.
  • Property insurance claims experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Minimum of three years project management or business analyst work-related experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Proficient with JIRA, project management tools and MS Office.
