The role & what you will be doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Intern role will make an impact:
- Maintain, build and analyse budget and forecast for revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases and to prepare monthly reporting to the internal commercial organisation.
- Gather and organise financial data from other departments for Budgeting and forecasting.
- Compile and analyse financial data and provide insightful commentary on variances and discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports to non-financial organisation.
- General financial accounting such as journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and provisions
- Support to GIS and Local finance with internal and external Audit
- Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc requests and analytics
About your skills & experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual
- Graduate with Finance degree
- Competent use of Microsoft skills, Excel, Powerpoint
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team effectively
- Ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail and data analysis skills
