The role & what you will be doing
This is a great opportunity for someone seeking an entry level position in the industry – ideal for graduates or placement year students. You will gain an understanding of pharmacovigilance through the eyes of the PV-Contracts Team.
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the PV Intern role will make an impact:
- Ensuring pharmacovigilance obligations are consistently and adequately considered for all new/updated/terminated business relationships between Viatris and contractual partners
- Reviewing contractual business agreements (“Main Agreements”) and determining whether inclusion of Pharmacovigilance language is required and, if yes, whether a standalone Pharmacovigilance Agreement (PVA) is needed
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Business Development, Legal Department, Affiliates, Regional Management, Regulatory Affairs) to ensure that PVAs or Pharmacovigilance language will be established for relevant Main Agreements
- Negotiating PVAs with Business Partners and ensuring that all relevant changes to the standard text will be approved by the responsible functions at PSRM and the Legal Department
- Supporting the development and updating of procedures, templates, tools and systems used for the implementation and oversight of PVAs
- Supporting the maintenance of the PVA database and retrieval of information when required
- Collaborating with relevant functions within PSRM to support effective and timely solutions/responses to compliance issues/questions including audit/inspection findings
- Monitoring and managing the team group mailbox
- Maintaining inspection and audit readiness via electronic maintenance and retention of PVAs
