The 12-month placement will give students a real world experience, in an exciting, busy manufacturing environment.

The role includes but is not limited to the support of the Manufacturing Department in all continuous improvement projects. These projects focus on a productivity improvement drive that is anchored in Lean Manufacturing principles and eliminating non-value-add activity.

The primary focus is to support on a single project that is defining the way parts are presented to the operations team specifically in the module build department, utilizing Adobe Illustrator as a software package to create grid layouts to house the parts used to assemble the modules that are then integrated into our Automated Storage units.

Skills and Aptitude Profile

  • Engineering or Manufacturing degree
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel)
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools
  • Ability to understand detailed requirements and document
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence to ask searching questions
