Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to think creatively under pressure to solve complex problems? We have two Internal Account Manager Undergraduate roles within our Fleet team.
This placement year is sure to give you a broad and in-depth understanding as to how our Fleet Business is run and provide you with the opportunity to start building a business network. You will have the opportunity to liaise and build relationships with our suppliers, customers and manufacturers.
What your time at Volkswagen Financial Services might look like
- Assist with preparation of sales proposals and processing of orders.
- Liaise with Retailers and Brand colleagues to agree/negotiate discounts or group supported campaigns for customers.
- Attend customer visits where required; support internal customer visits and Tender presentations.
- Direct communication with customers to provide pro-active sales support.
- Liaise and build relationships with suppliers, customers and manufacturers.
- Working alongside our Field Sales Team, supporting with tenders and vehicle quotations, carry out credit renewal application.
About you
- Currently studying a degree in Business, or a related field.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to deal with a variety of tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Able to communicate clearly with the business both verbally and in writing.
- Use own initiative to answer questions and solve queries.
- Take a proactive and flexible approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to changing circumstances and demands.
- PC literacy – Microsoft office skills.

Here’s what our process looks like
- Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
- You’ll then be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to understand how you may approach situations.
- If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
- If successful, your final step in the journey is to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes office where you will take part in a group exercise, complete a short interview and deliver a presentation. You'll also meet some of our managers and our current Undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
