Who we’re looking for
As Graduate Motion Graphics and Design Specialist, you will be pivotal to supporting the training material of our new claims software, Echo. The content will be in PowerPoint, which will include motion graphics and audio content, as well as requiring editing and approval for final roll out.
The role provides an invaluable Graduate opportunity, presenting a learning and development paid placement, with the support from a professional and capable team. The role requires someone who has a structured and methodical approach to timeframes and deadlines, is receptive to change requirements, as well as the ability to self-manage as the working hours are completely flexible.
What you’ll be doing
The responsibilities of the Graduate Motion Graphics and Design Specialist include (though are not limited to):
- Taking the initial brief and/or instruction from the Head of Operational Projects or a delegated and authorised member of the project team
- Clarify and understand the content requirement of each training module, including the style and branding guidelines
- Take the agreed content, draft the accompanying video, editing to ensure there are no breaks, and that branding and formatting is consistent
- Take instruction on amendments, reporting as necessary when amendments are completed
- Combine audio content with motion graphics into PowerPoint, ensuring the flow of the content is consistent with the initial brief, factoring in an audience which is new to this type of technology
- Advise the Echo project team on alternative and effective ways or methods to present the learning material requirements
- You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required and notified to you by Woodgate and Clark
Skills and experience required
- Previous experience in developing and producing motion graphics (E)
- Advanced to Expert level PowerPoint experience
- Can provide a portfolio and/or examples of producing motion graphics
- An organised self-starter; able to scope out learning requirement as from raw and basic briefs (E).
- Logical and systematic in approach, delivering with accuracy and to specific deadlines (E).
- Sound written and verbal communication skills (E).
- Attention to detail (E).
- A quick learner and conceptual thinker (E).
- Capable of prioritising competing workloads in busy periods and balance/coordinate a variety of work concurrently (E).
- Proactive, positive and quality-focused (E).
- Ability to work on own initiative, autonomously, as well as part of a wider team (E).
