Gramercy Park Studios is an integrated facility born to bring ideas to life in an adaptable and creative environment. Our award-winning talent in VFX, Colour Grading, Editing, Sound Design and Production sit under one roof to provide end to end services for the advertising and creative industries.

We collaborate with our clients to craft campaigns across multiple platforms and disciplines, adopting an innovative and agile approach to creative and post-production processes.

The Role

We are currently looking for a Junior Flame Artist to join our busy 2d VFX team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working alongside other artists and clients to offer project support wherever needed.
  • Working closely with VFX supervisors and lead artists as well as producers.
  • Conforming edits and EDLs, working with timelines, and eye-matching material and editorial VFX where necessary.
  • Project archiving.
  • Roto, Paint, clean-up, tracking, versioning, editorial changes, title amends and clocking as required.
  • Composite shots and elements as required
  • QC & Mastering including a broad knowledge of broadcast requirements
  • To communicate with other VFX staff and departments on the status of work.
  • To be able to manage time effectively and give accurate assessments of the workload and the time required to complete tasks.
  • Training to continue developing key skills
  • Collaborate with other artists to share knowledge and techniques
  • The desire to grow as a Flame artist within the 2D department

Essential Skills

  • Experience using Flame on commercials.
  • Background in Design or other relevant compositing software.
  • Must be highly organised and have the ability to juggle and prioritise several projects at once in a highly efficient and calm manner.
  • Ability to take direction, work well within a team and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both clients and staff.
  • Self-motivated and keen to keep learning.

Desirable Skills

  • Nuke
  • Photoshop / After Effects
  • Understanding of editing software
  • Understanding of compositing techniques and terms
