The role

We are seeking a talented and experienced junior Integrated Creative Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in both digital and print design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating cohesive, visually compelling work.

You will be responsible for developing and executing design concepts across various media channels, ensuring all work aligns with our clients' brand identities and campaign objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Creative design concepts: Develop and execute creative design concepts for a variety of media, including digital (social media, email campaigns, etc.) and print (brand advertising, brand identity, event collateral etc).
  • Social First Design: Ensure that all designs work across digital assets. Making sure templates are optimised for various digital specs, from Instagram reels to Linkedin posts. Delivering a consistent user experience across all social and digital platforms. Create eye-catching static designs for social media ads, websites, landing pages, and other digital assets that align with clients' branding guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Design, Creative Lead, Creative Teams and Project Managers to deliver quality and consistent digital composites. Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Help drive 'idea led' creative solutions that reflect modern marketing.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, branding consistency, and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Digital Design Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to each project.
  • Digital Templates: Working closely with the Digital Design Lead to work on Figma templates with built in auto-layout and componentised elements. Also using After Effects templates to update copy and imagery.
  • Design visually appealing and responsive HTML emails for our clients' email marketing campaigns, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and optimal user experience.
  • Conceptualise and produce captivating HTML5 banners that integrate seamlessly into various digital advertising platforms, captivating users and driving brand awareness.
  • Implement motion graphics and animations to add dynamism and interactivity to online advertisements, enhancing engagement and conveying brand messages effectively.
  • Consistency: Ensure all design work is consistent with brand guidelines and meets the project brief requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience designing well-crafted visual comms adopting best practice across print and digital channels such as newspapers, social media content & CRM
  • Experience designing HTML emails and HTML5 banners
  • Digital/Print Portfolio: showcasing a diverse range of digital, print and branding design projects, showcasing an excellent understanding of typography, colour and layout principles.
  • Design Knowledge - Figma/Adobe: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and other relevant design tools.
  • Skills in motion design, animation, and video editing to create captivating visual experiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring pixel-perfect designs and flawless execution.
  • Time Management: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions independently.
  • Visual Storytelling: Be interested in current affairs and have a passion for telling stories
