Junior Technical Consultant

We are experiencing huge demand for our Intelligent Transport Systems technical consultancy services and our Systems and Infrastructure group is growing rapidly. The ITS technology landscape is evolving and data is at the heart of changes such as connected and autonomous vehicles and digital delivery. We now have several opportunities for data specialists to join our team to work on a range of exciting projects for clients across the UK.
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive Technical Consultant to be part of our team and help our clients implement effective solutions to deliver business value with data. This role is a great opportunity to apply your skills and creativity to some of the most interesting challenges in ITS.
A typical week would include:
• Working with our experts to find solutions to complex technical problems
• Consulting with clients to understand their needs an capture business and technical requirements
• Helping our clients to explore data with sophisticated analysis techniques and visualisation
• Working with clients to help them make effective decisions about data and technology
• Developing your technical and consultancy skills
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• Professional experience working with data and IT solutions in a role such as engineer, consultant, business analyst, business intelligence analyst or data scientist
• A keen interest in technology and data and in their impact on the world
• Good analytical skills and a proven ability to think creatively to solve problems
• Experience dealing with clients or customers and excellent communications skills, both written and in direct people contact with the ability to work well as part of a team
• A Degree in an engineering, science, applied mathematics or other technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
