Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work within a world leading organisation? We’re looking for a Graduate R&D Materials Engineer to join us for a 9-month fixed term as we continue to grow and deliver high profile projects to both our motorsport and high-performance automotive customers.

What you'll do

You will be integral to a high-profile cross-department internal development project, working within a focused team to analyse metallurgical samples as part of a steel test programme. Working closely with the Chief Metallurgist, the results of your findings will be presented to senior management, helping to develop the use of new materials and bring future success to both Xtrac and our customers.

Your main responsibilities

  • Providing research and development engineering support to the Advanced Engineering Group.
  • Attending regular review sessions with the team and stakeholders.
  • Preparing reports that are clear, concise and communicate findings across multiple departments with different technical backgrounds.
