As a Marketing Assistant in a startup you are essential in helping to grow the customer base both online and in-store. You will be responsible for building a community of customers for the brand and ensuring they know where to buy the products. You will promote the brand through social media platforms and other channels. You will be aware of the latest trends in the industry and what truly engages the customer audience.
What Will the Job Entail?
Engaging with consumers and the online community via social media channels.
Owning the social media content calendar (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Newsletters, LinkedIn).
Analysis and compiling reports of marketing campaigns.
Engaging with journalists to include the brand story on appropriate platforms.
Managing general customer service inquiries and tracking customer feedback.
Build strong brand partnerships to capture a wider customer audience.
Organisation and tracking of samples.
General office administration tasks to support the wider team.
Marketing and representing the brand at relevant events.
You must be up to date with the latest trends across the FMCG industry.
You will be social media savvy, confident using TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
You must be personable, able to build strong relationships and communicate with others.
You must have a creative eye and think outside of the box.
You will need to have strong writing and analytical skills.
You are a self-starter, willing to take on a new challenge and try things out!
An entrepreneurial spirit and drive to succeed is key.
