At Zopa, analysts are the people that inspire ideas and strategies to drive our business forward, making sure our products and offerings just keep getting better and better for our customers.

This role is within the lending strategy team so you’ll be responsible for things such as setting pricing for unsecured personal loans, defining our approach to car price depreciation in auto lending, determining credit risk and credit increases on our credit card portfolio or driving lending growth in our credit card acquisitions. This might be done through the application of machine learning on our internal data or working with credit bureau to define an industry sample dataset from which you can draw insight.

You’ll be working across a range of different projects across the business meaning your exposure and impact will be huge.

  • You’ll be highly analytical and love all things data while never losing sight of how the numbers you’re crunching affect the people who use our products

  • You have the appetite to learn new programming languages, such as Python, which we use for most of our analytics
