The world of work is changing – and faster than we ever anticipated. The spread of COVID-19 has meant a massive societal shift towards home working.
Arcadis’ immediate reaction to the lockdown was to ensure all employees and their families were kept safe, this meant that during the initial phase we ensured that all of our employees were set up appropriately to be able to work from home.
During the Pandemic we have continued to support our clients with new challenges they have been facing. We are proud to have worked with The UK Government and NHS England on three of the ‘NHS Nightingale’ hospitals based in Birmingham, Harrogate & Cardiff, to provide cover for the increase in patients due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
We are proud to say that we have also continued to support our chosen charities. We've encouraged our colleagues, clients, friends and family to get active during lockdown - raising £20,000 for Alzheimer's Society, to fund a research project: 'Using virtual reality to detect the earliest stages of Alzheimer's Disease'.
As you will appreciate given the situation with Covid-19, we have been working to understand what position our early years recruitment was in and have been working closely with candidates who are joining our programmes. Due to working from home and some of the industries projects having to delay the next phase, it was decided that all early careers hiring must be put on pause.
We have delivered a number of insight and skills sessions, which we will continue to run during these uncertain times. These interactive sessions are hosted online giving some great insights into a career with Arcadis, such as different career options and what skills we look for.
Our skills sessions will give you hints, tips and guidance on CV writing, assessment centres, LinkedIn and personal brand. This invaluable knowledge will help you develop essential skills and confidence when applying for roles at Arcadis across a range of sectors and roles.
