About us
The Nottingham Trent Afro-Caribbean Society (NTU ACS) is a student run community that caters to the personal and academic growth of its members. Our society aims to celebrate black culture and achievements by consistently providing a platform for students to network and advance in their various fields. At the heart of our society is the goal to encourage all students to see the value in their ethnic backgrounds and use it to their advantage in their future ventures.
Our goals
- Provide opportunities for members to advance academically which will benefit their future careers.
- Build stronger links between members and their ethnic backgrounds while implementing a culture of positivity and well-being amongst minority ethnic groups.
- Transform the reputation of the Afro-Caribbean Society and foster a greater ACS presence at the University.
