About Chris: I am currently in my first year at King’s College London. I am a campus ambassador of SEO London, a software engineering summer intern at Secret Escapes, a data analyst intern at Stride Gaming, and have secured multiple spring internships at investment banks. I have also done two work experience programs at O2 and Sky News. I have over 150,000 views on Quora, the world’s most famous Q&A site, where I teach IELTS and motivate hundreds of people to succeed. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano (composing my own piano pieces), swimming, and building cool applications with the latest technologies.

Favourite thing about Bright Network: I love the fact that Bright Network is constantly finding innovative ways to create value for its members. The Bright Network events page and calendar have helped me personally find out about a lot of events, and I ended up going to more than 40 insight days in 27 unique companies. Furthermore, I enjoy reading the commercial awareness weekly newsletters. I found them extremely useful in keeping me up to date with the latest trends in the markets.

About me: I am from Hong Kong and Singapore, but i was raised in multiple different cities. I'm going into my 2nd year at King's College London as an Economics student; a fun fact about me, there are 12 seasons and 293 episodes of Grey's Anatomy and I have seen every single one. My hobbies include going to the gym frequently - ain't no body got time for cardio, do the squats and lift those weights. I’m an aspiring investment banker within M&A division or corporate lawyer in the City, and have gotten work experience in both a startup and the corporate world.

As an avid advocate of social issues and social impact, I am the current events director for Enactus KCL - a non for profit student organization creating social enterprises that generate positive social impact and empowering those in need. Business development and consulting is an area that I am trying to strengthen myself in, thus I decided to take up the role as the incoming business development director for 180 Degrees consulting. It has been a rewarding experience so far connecting with different people, both culturally and academically, and I am looking forward to doing just that as a Bright Network campus ambassador this upcoming academic year.

Favorite thing about Bright Network: To me, Bright network is more than just a career guidance platform for university students. With the aim of reaching out to as many university students as possible, Bright Network attempts to do this through its unique multi-channel approach. Through various employability workshops and events, Bright Network has given me the opportunity to network with organisations and firms, and build on my future employability skills. More importantly, the campus ambassador community comprises of bright, driven, and sociable individuals, headed by an actively helpful team seeking to provide a stepping stone for members towards a successful career pathway.
