London Stock Exchange Group have committed to employ and invest in the development of a highly diverse, global workforce to deliver on our sustainable vision. We value diversity as a driver for development and innovation. Headquartered in the United Kingdom, with significant operations in North America, Italy, France and Sri Lanka, the Group employs approximately 3,500 people. We have employees of 55 different nationalities, reflecting both the international scale of our business and the diversity of our customer base. Five nationalities are represented on our Executive Committee. In early 2015, we launched the ‘Women Inspired Network’ (WIN), a Group-wide network aimed at nurturing female talent and developing their careers across all levels of our organisation. WIN has been launched in London, Milan, Paris and New York.

Aspirational targets

We have set ourselves a stretch target of 40% female representation for senior management and our overall population. We aim to achieve this by 2020. Our Group overall female representation in September stood at 30%. Similarly, 30% of our senior management team are female. We expect progress to be shown towards 2020 reflecting the outcomes of significant support and focus on this agenda.
