After attending the Women's in Finance event, Bright Network member Niffy secured herself a graduate role at Accenture. We caught up with Niffy to discuss how she found the application process.
Why did you choose this firm and this role?
I really liked how friendly the employees were and the training that Accenture graduates are exposed to. This encouraged me to apply to apply to Accenture.
What was the toughest part of the application process? And your favourite part?
The toughest part of the recruitment process was the online interview. It is not like any video interview I have completed so I was a little thrown off guard but nonetheless it is doable. My favourite part had to be the assessment centre. Accenture is really good at putting you at ease by doing ice breakers and talks from managers. This helped me to perform to my best ability because I was comfortable.
Were you surprised by anything in the process?
Accenture lays out their recruitment processes very clearly online and there is a lot of information on student room and wiki jobs so I was not surprised by anything in the process.
What three top tips would you give your fellow Bright Network members?
Preparation, Confidence and Prayer would be my three tips. I think that is what got me through the recruitment process.
What's your lucky charm or pre-interview ritual?
I don't really have a lucky charm, but my pre-interview ritual would just be to pray to God, it puts me at ease and reminds me that it is in His control.
