Camilla recently completed a Spring Week at BlackRock. We had a chat about the application process and her top tip for her fellow Bright Network members.
Why did you choose this firm and this role?
I chose this firm because of its fantastic culture and reputation. BlackRock is the number one Asset Manager in the world, with over 5.1 trillion dollars in asset under management, and it is consistently performing above its target.
What was the toughest part of the application process and what was your favourite part?
The toughest part of the application process was the hour of competency questions during the interview. On the other hand, my favourite part of the process was the commercial awareness questions: I felt prepared and I really enjoyed my interview.
Were you surprised by anything in the process?
I was most surprised by how short the whole application process was.
