I am a big fan of gin so I would have to say my favourite is Beefeater! Although there are 100’s of brands to choose, I like a classic G&T.

Above HR knowledge, I have learnt the importance of time management and communication. Doing a placement I already feel like a different person and more motivated for my future career.

The people! Within HR, you get to work with the whole company and meet a vary of different personalities. It has definitely taught me how to approach situations better.

What is the culture like?

Conviviality! PRUK have got it right with working hard but also celebrating. It is a flat structure here and everyone is approachable. Everyone says hi to anyone and is always willing to help.

I went down to Plymouth distillery for a few days with my team and last week went to the Recruitment Awards in Mayfair.

Diversity at PRUK is definitely recognised as a key goal and something we constantly strive to improve and better ourselves at. I respect PRUK as they are open and honest that it is important to them and want to improve.

How did you find the application process?

Throughout applying for placements I was nervous but Bright Network's application process was clear. It was a great opportunity to present myself in different ways whether that’s pre-recorded videos or cover letter questions.

Finally, any tips for anyone who’d like to apply for a role at Pernod Ricard UK?

Be positive! A smile and the right attitude go a long way. PRUK is a great company to work for and the employees should represent what it stands for. When applying, be yourself!
