As Bright Network continues to grow, we're striving to help even more of our bright members pursue the best career path they can. That's why this year, we decided to hit the road and head to Birmingham for our biggest ever regional event: Bright Network LIVE: Birmingham. On the day, we welcomed over 240 members from all degree backgrounds and 21 fantastic employers to come together and build valuable connections.

Alongside the open networking were panel and skills sessions to give members both the connections and the other tools they need to get one step closer to securing their dream role. Before open networking kicked-off, Bright Network’s Ben Triggs ran a masterclass on networking to help attendees make the best possible first impression when meeting representatives from the firms.
Later on, members had the chance to attend sessions on diversity in the workplace, top tips to get ahead in your career and a sector overview from one of our premier partners, Willis Towers Watson. Through these sessions, members could learn from panellists' personal experiences in their careers and receive valuable insights into a range of industries.
To consolidate everything our members had learnt throughout the day, we rounded off with a Bright Network Academy skills session to help attendees ensure that their future job applications stand out from the crowd.
