Police Now’s mission is to transform communities, reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, and increase the public’s confidence in the police service by recruiting, developing and inspiring outstanding and diverse individuals to be leaders in society and on the policing frontline.  

Police Now are recognised as a Times Top 100 Graduate Employer and offer two award-winning national graduate programmes: 

• National Graduate Leadership Programme 
• National Detective Programme 

Police Now’s national programmes offer graduates a salary from day one while they train to become neighbourhood police officers or police detectives. Graduates work on big societal issues, help create safer communities and build a truly inclusive and trustworthy police service.   

Over two years, graduates expand their knowledge of the policing sector, starting with an award-winning training academy whilst being supported by a dedicated Performance and Development Coach to aid their growth and development. The training empowers graduates to make an immediate and real impact on the lives of society’s most vulnerable and gain the confidence needed to drive transformative change.  

Following completion of the two-year programme, participants gain a permanent role in policing and have access to an alumni team to support with career progression and promotion.
