The role

We are currently recruiting a Sales & Marketing Administrator to join our Asset Reliability Sales Team. You will be responsible for helping the sales team succeed by carrying out all the general admin tasks for the Technical Sales and Business Development Managers and running the marketing activities, to fit in line with the wider BES Group Marketing team.

To be considered for this role you will live in the Yorkshire area, our office is in Rotherham and this is a hybrid role. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

What will I be doing?

Typically the job will involve a combination of providing support to the sales team on all general admin tasks, supporting with Tender Bid Coordination on a non-technical level including organising supporting documentation and being responsible for the Asset Reliability teams marketing.

  • Support management in accurate CRM reporting and chasing opportunity owners for updates
  • Ensure correct creation of new leads and opportunities into the Sales Pipeline via Dynamics CRM
  • Provide supporting information for quotes and presentations
  • Complete new customer questionnaires and existing customer information updates
  • Prepare and submit pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) as required using boilerplate information
  • Maintain company information on tender alert and submission portals
  • Coordinate with the technical team for full submission to the client/tender portal
  • Managing time and cost associated with events, brochures, social media content and other marketing requirements

What experience do I need?

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. You will be skilled in administration and client engagement, along with having the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do.

You will:

  • Offer previous experience supporting a successful sales team
  • Possess highly effective admin and communication skills
  • Previous experience in Bid Coordination desirable
  • Be familiar with digital marketing platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Demonstrate experience with marketing
  • Excel in relationship building, owing to your strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be highly methodical, having the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Naturally, you will have excellent attention to detail as you will be working with detailed proposals and CRM systems (experience using MS Dynamics would also be an advantage)
  • Do what you say you will do; Talk to anyone in our team from engineers to our back office team and we’re always open and honest
  • Be reliable; There’s something about being dependable that we all think matters
