We're searching for a talented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic FP&A team here at International Personal Finance. As a school leaver, graduate or part-qualified accountant, you’ll be provided with study support through an apprenticeship to help you learn, develop and qualify as a chartered accountant, all whilst making a valuable contribution to the operational and financial performance of the business.

About the role

Reporting directly into our Group FP&A Manager, the role will be based in our Head Office on Whitehall Road, Leeds, which is just a short walk from Leeds Train Station. The office has been designed as a collaborative space which supports hybrid working.

You will be responsible for helping FP&A, Financial Reporting and Group Treasury teams in preparation of regular management information and forecasting processes ensuring that all output is high quality. You will also be developed to be able to deliver analysis of financial performance, particularly with regards to treasury related matters.

Key role responsibilities are

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional and multinational teams to analyse financial data and trends, providing valuable insights to drive business growth.
  • Provide support during the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Perform analysis for and provide support to the Treasury team during the budget and rolling forecast processes and on a monthly basis with regular Treasury reporting.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process at month ends as well as during the half yearly external reporting periods.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

  • You've recently left school/university or are part-qualified and are interested in completing an apprenticeship and qualifying as a chartered accountant.
  • You have a desire to learn and develop personally and are keen to excel in a career in Finance.
  • You have a strong affinity for numbers, data and financial topics in general and ideally have a proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A passion for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude are essential.
  • You thrive in a collaborative team environment, and you're excited to work alongside talented professionals who share your dedication to excellence.
