Graduate Spotlight: Hollie, Supply Graduate

Book open Reading time: 1 min

We caught up with Hollie, who after completing the Technical Graduate Programme is now a part of the Brand Change team. Here she shared her insights on the international opportunities available with Diageo and what she's learned since joining as a graduate.

What opportunities has Diageo provided you?

In the past (almost!) 5 years with Diageo I have lived in 4 different countries and travelled to countless more working on various technical projects. I’ve worked with Whisky in Scotland, Rum in the Caribbean and Smirnoff Ice in Italy. I’ve met amazing people and lucky enough to have friends all over the world. Being able to experience new places while learning more about different categories and consumer groups is an ideal scenario for me!

What’s the most exciting thing about your role?

The most exciting thing about my role is the variety of projects I get to work on- I am working collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers globally to deliver great products to consumers. Every day brings a new challenge I haven’t encountered before so I am always learning.

What has Diageo taught you about yourself?

Moving jobs and locations on the Graduate Programme gives opportunities to experience lots of different types of roles. I’ve learnt that I enjoy dynamic, creative, collaborative roles that have me working directly with the finished products.
