Tom | Life as a Lead Trainer at Quadmark

Book open Reading time: 2 mins

Tom is a Lead Trainer at Quadmark. Find out more about him and Quadmark below.

A bit about me - I didn't go to University, instead I went to college and got a BTEC in Engineering. Did I ever plan to be here at Quadmark? No, but I love talking to people and I love working with tech and I get a great sense of achievement from helping people learn. I also like working with big tech brands, as it's fast paced and you really have to think differently and on your feet sometimes.

What has been the single most important thing you learnt so far in your job?

That things will be busy and you'll have to think outside the box. But when you ask for help it's there and as a team, we can achieve more than you thought possible.

What would a ‘normal’ day look like for someone in your role?

As a Trainer, our time could be spent prepping for or delivering training to hundreds of people or helping anywhere in the process of thinking of, creating or testing any type of training material. Oh and you might have to create voice overs or star in YouTube videos too.

What is the culture like?

Everyone really is super fun and helpful... Remember that, ask for help when you need it.

Any tips for anyone who’d like to apply for a role at Quadmark?

Quadmark is a place to shine if you're ready for a challenge, willing to think outside the box and roll your sleeves up. The possibilities will surprise you.
